101 CREATIVITY PROJECTS

Art, Architecture, Culture, Values... | VOl. I
BOOK + COURSE

A book that not only brings children closer to art prepares your children with philosophy to develop a strong personality.

As an educator, mother of three children and children’s art teacher at the Montessori School in Japan, I became aware of where the real artist is.

It is as children get older that their interest wanes. They just need to have the materials and tools at hand. This little-great artist comes from carrying out a project with enthusiasm and freedom.

We adults make unnecessary efforts on many occasions, we try to model the child to do things as we consider them to be correct, that is to say, in our way.

However, trusting in their autonomy, letting them investigate and carry out a task that they are capable of completing successfully on their own, can surprise us with fabulous results. On the other hand, it reinforces, in his personality, self-worth and acceptance by feeling loved and useful:

“Joy, feeling one’s own worth, being appreciated and loved by others, feeling useful and able to produce, are factors of great value to the human soul.”

Maria Montessori.

In this book will be a very useful tool to develop in the child a strong personality and contribute to form a solid self-esteem, with values, which will help him to be a successful adult in life, which does not translate into another word than happiness.

Because when the basis of a person in their social integration, are respect for oneself and everything around him, coupled with a philosophy of Japanese life IKIGAI, the result is none other than to give meaning to our life.

The unique concepts of Japanese culture are detailed in a practical way to apply them with the child. All this through the elaboration of projects, which bring the child closer to Japanese Art. The use of their unique techniques and styles will contribute to nurture their creativity.

The children will learn that, with small decisions and constant effort, great achievements are made. On this occasion, their small-big work of art.

"101 Creativity Projects by Sonia G Caballero, is a multi-faceted book that contains both art pedagogy, a catalogue of her own work, and artistic literature on Japanese art and customs. A beautiful and careful volume, which promises not to be the last, and which in my opinion will be fruitful and useful, not only for children but also for older adults."

"It is a really special book that brings ideas and concepts to both children and adults. I was especially struck by the concept of IKIGAI and the different techniques of Japanese art. The most practical part of the book is developed as a project, with very illustrative images of all the techniques used. The projects that serve as a source of inspiration for the children are very original and based on sustainability and responsible consumption. Having a space in the book to put the photo of "MY PROJECT" gives a touch of interaction that the little ones love. In conclusion, I loved the subtlety with which she transmits her love and respect for Japanese art and customs".

"I have heard from several people about this book through montessori networking groups ... . They sent me an interview of the book's presentation on Onda Cero Cataluña, from Ramon Soler's program Made in Japan on Sonia G Caballero's youtube channel and I couldn't resist buying it. I finally got it on the website of Sonia G Caballero. It teaches much needed terms that complement our western culture. An essential book if you are looking for alternative education, homeschooling, montessori, waldorf ...it is the ideal book. I bought it in the afternoon and it arrived the next day in the morning. Super happy. I recommend it 100%. Wait for all ages. The projects can be adapted according to the child. My daughter is 10 years old but the projects can be done from 4 to older if you like art. It teaches exclusive techniques of Japanese art, something unique and collected in one volume “.

The collaboration of Iván Acebedo, a renowned architect, is a very interesting contribution. The project presented in the architecture book was carried out by my 13 year old son, who presented it in high school and won the first prize for Innovative Project and Environmental Conservation”.

He did not like drawing at all, the teachers told me that he started to participate with great enthusiasm in Sonia's art classes. I am very grateful, now even at home she draws and makes very creative designs. Some projects are unique and registered which makes it a very special book within the Montesori philosophy".

“My daughter has trouble concentrating and has a hard time finishing a task or staying on task for any length of time. The projects proposed by Sonia Caballero have managed to capture my daughter's attention and she has managed to finish more than half of the projects in the book. She loves to put the picture of her finished project in the space that Sonia has left for each child to feel a part of this book. My daughter's concentration has improved and she is finding it easier and easier to complete tasks on her own. Thank you Sonia Caballero”.

“I heard great things about the 101 Creative Projects course. My granddaughter was taking art classes after school. She has great artistic skills, so I decided to give her this course as a gift. My daughter has told me that she is very happy, the projects are very varied and of a high artistic level in addition to working on values, environmental education etc. My granddaughter has replaced her art classes with this course because she can do it from home. I am very pleased”.

It is an inspirational tool not only for the little ones but for the whole family. What better way to enjoy time with the little ones. Thank you for collecting in the book your work guidelines to help to bring out that connection with creativity and freedom”.

Magnificent, I have already given away four copies and they have been a success. Thanks to the author from the bottom of my heart”.

"Spectacular, totally recommended, as a gift will love. This Course is a gift that contains her art and her knowledge: the quality of the paper, the images, the layout. You can see that, in every detail, the artist has put her heart, her time, her knowledge. It has 19 practical exercises (there is a section reserved for "my project") very well explained and illustrated. One of the things I liked the most is to know concepts of Japanese wisdom and culture associated with artistic projects: IKIGAI, KOKORO WO KOMETE, MINIMALISM, WABI SABI, etc. As the author says it is a book to do together: at home, in any Montessori school, in any class that works by projects, in any art class. I loved it. I can only recommend it”.

“My granddaughter is very happy with this course. She finds it very fun to do the projects and read the techniques and curiosities that the author writes with great affection and interest for children. I love to receive as a gift the work that my granddaughter does with this book. I have given it as a gift to two other people and they are very satisfied with the variety of projects that touch on various topics”.
